The hotels are centrally located. In Bangkok, you will be able to reach the city within a 10 minutes cab ride. Cabs are the best way to go around in Bangkok, they are very affordable. In Phuket, the beach is 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Yes, you can book the suggested tours in the itinerary with your reservation agent or directly at destination (payable in cash). At the hotels, you will be able to book plenty of tours directly with the tour desk.

Most restaurants already include a 10% service charge in the bill, so you don't need to tip on top of it unless you think the service was excellent. Tipping guides, hotel staff or other local staff is always very appreciated as some workers make very low wages. For guides, we suggest giving minimum $8 CAD / $5 USD per person for a full day tour.
